Two games developed by BlackCherry for The Jim Henson Company, deployed on the Vinci Tab, a custom Android tablet for young children. As lead programmer, integrated the interface audio, 3D assets, and gameplay mechanics. The Sid the Science Kid characters were animated with 2D sprite sheets; the Vinci characters were 3D.
In the lever game, players help Gerald build a lever to get his toys into the sandbox, and come away with a basic understanding of how a lever works. In the measurement game, players help Gabriella find and measure everyday objects using non-standard units, and learn relative length by measuring things themselves.
